I actually caught them at that RTB in the parking lot of Angel Stadium for the first reunion show a few years back. Tragically, that show went from hype and really wide open and dope, to somber when they announced in between acts, that ODB had passed away that day.

So today a little video from The Ruler. This was one of the best albums to come out while I was still in school gettin a fake ass education. The debut album from MC Ricky D had a mix of poppy songs that were actually pretty sick for those days, and a whole lot of really good Hip Hop music. I love this album and still rock it on occasion, especially when the shit that represents Hip Hop today is gettin me down.

Yo this record came out in 1993 on Jive and is still getting play in Suzuki Sidekick all over America.

Yo what up world? I been away for a minute on the IR with an undisclosed cooking injury, but a brothas back with a vengeance son. So yo over the weekend, a few people from the Hip Hop familia tied the knot. Along with Jazzy Jeff, there was Swizz Beats and Alicia Keys getting married, as well as T.I and Tiny exchanging rings.
