The Carter Documentary

Yo what up world? Chillin, chillin right here. Hip Hop meets cinema once again in the upcoming documentary release about that boy Weezy, aka Lil Wayne. The movie is entitled Lil Wayne: The Carter, and is scheduled for straight to DVD release on November 17th. The film lists QDIII as one of five co-producers and apparently was a big hit at the Sundance Film Festival this year.

According to XXL Magazine, Wayne wasn't happy with some parts of the film and thought that it portrayed him in a negative light. He also claims that he wasn't included on the final cut of the film, and that went against what was agreed on initially. So apparently Weezy filed a law suit for an undisclosed amount of money. The film shows Wayne's success and rise to fame as well some of the things that are looked upon as negative, like his addiction to drinking codeine cough syrup to get his buzz on.

Here is a pretty interesting looking trailer for you to peep out. And if you watch this clip and decide to cop the movie click here.
