What up world? Chillin chillin. Its Thursday and here's my Throwback pick of the week. Its the Liks baby, its the Liks. I can describe this West Coast Super Group in one word............ DOPE! This group had been a favorite of mine for a while now. And when I say favorite, I'm talking favorite records and live shows. Just keep in mind that if you go to a Liks show, your gonna get wet if your in the front row.This album came out in 1993 and became the anthem for parties everywhere. Yo this record was my theme music for getting my drank on. Ain't no party like a Alkaholiks party. Oh fo sho homeboi. This record gets to spinning and the Dynamic Trio get to spittin some of the freshest lyrics to come out of the Left Coast. J-ro, Tash, and E Swift definitely put a new face on the West Coast rap scene. Usually I would name a few joints off the record and say that these are the ones that keep the rest of the record afloat, but this shit is straight banga after banga. If you haven't heard this album, get yo ass up and out of the house, and get to the local record store to pick it up. You wont be disappointed with the beats or the lyrics.
