Yo what up world? Here's some good news straight from the Stones Throw Records website...."Madlib is launching the Madlib Medicine Show, a once-a-month, twelve-CD, six-LP series. The Madlib Medicine Show will be a combination of Madlib's new hip-hop productions, remixes, beat tapes, and jazz, as well as mixtapes of funk, soul, Brazilian, psych, jazz and other undefined forms of music from the Beat Konducta's 4-ton* stack of vinyl." Are you kidding me? I can't wait to get my hands on all twelve of these joints.The first release in this series will be called Madlib Medicine Show No. 1 Before The Verdict, and will have 17 tracks featuring Guilty Simpson. Apparently its a prelude to the duos upcoming OJ Simpson release. Stones Throw.com also states that they are "planning for the vinyl edition of Madlib Medicine Show No. 1 to be a hand-screened, limited edition release. Madlib Medicine Show No. 2, Flight to Brazil, is a mixtape of Brazilian jazz, funk, prog-rock, folk and psychedelia. Later releases will include Beat Konducta in Africa." Show your support to that Cali Hip Hop and cop all 12 of these joints as they are released ..... I know I will. Heres a little bit of that Madlib classic type shit for ya'll to chew on. One of the greatest producers ever in my opinion killin it right here in this dope ass video.
